This set of drawings was inspired during a midnight walk at the Largo de Santo Agostinho. The area with several historic buildings is bustling at day but so quiet at night that it gives out a sense of tranquility and loneliness, leaving me a chance to reflect and introspect on myself.

 

In these drawings, Cement is mixed with acrylic to outstand the scene in a raw and natural style. Splashes of gold paint are added, just like the dimmed street lamps lighting up beautiful details of the historical architecture.
